I was steeped in church
dogma and doctrine but knew little of God’s will and His ways for my daily
life. Also, I was driven by greed and wanting to make it / become rich in
the world. Although sincere, I was trapped and enslaved by religion and
ambition. But it was dead religion, having no life, joy or power. My life
was one of a cycle of living for myself and then asking for forgiveness
each Sunday at church. But the Lord opened my eyes to see that the
religious traditions of man were a pitfall and He led me to Alon farm, a
beautiful Kibbutz where God was the centre of people’s lives and not just
something to be worshipped once or twice a week. I was immediately drawn
to the place and am now a full time member. This is where I met my wife
Rozaan. Previously involved in Wicca (a form of witchcraft) and astrology,
she became a heroin addict to the extent that she was given two months to
live by her doctors. God brought her to Alon and completely healed her of
her heroin addiction and witchcraft practices. We were married on the 20th
November 2007 and now have a wonderful hope and future in the Lord
together. Alon is a place where we speak the truth in love to one another.
Through this I have been encouraged to continue to press forward in our
lives. God is healing and restoring us of the many things that the world
stole from us. No longer do we need to play the game of being strong to
survive for “in Him” we can be strong. Praise God! |
