Eighteen years ago I was
called up to fulfil my compulsory military service in a small desert town,
Oudtshoorn. There in an absolute divine way, I met Davit and Sara, and my
wonderful wife Lotte who had come from Denmark. It was the beginning of an
Abrahamic type journey experiencing the leading of God step by step. We
moved to our present base with a small group of only 17 people not knowing
what incredible blessings the Lord had in store for us. Today we have a
rich and varied life dwelling amongst almost 150 people of many tongues,
tribes and nations. As a community we have been provided for in every way
and it is a privilege to see the salvation and deliverance of both young
and old as part of our daily life. Practically there are so many aspects
of community life with farming, carpentry, building, art work, businesses
in town an orphanage and newly established school to occupy us. This apart
from regular outreach programmes in Southern Africa and the nations
overseas. We thank God for committed and visionary leaders who have taken
Lotte and I and our three children on in our walk with Jesus. We can truly
say “Behold how good and pleasant it is for the Brethren to dwell together
in unity. Psalm 133. |
